    Just for illustration, and humor, I think it's obvious that the tubular powder marketed as FSP759 was not effectively flash suppressed...
    Pictures from 8x57, 175 Privi, 20 inch barrel. Non-max load, but pretty reasonable.

    On a serious note, I do wonder if it was surplus military at all, and perhaps surplus Kazan for commercial use.

    The Tula small rifle magnum primers were great in my 223 boltgun with a full case of n150. I made high master in long range with that load, I got single digit es’s for a 20 shot group.
    I only have 1 hundred left.

    Interesting. Someone gave me 500 of those primers and I have a very accurate bolt gun to try them in. My go to powder is IMR 8208 with 55 gr SGK’s.

    I have used both; did not see any difference in there primers; powder started low and worked up to desired FPS; AMU used st.marks powder for years; It all goes bang; just use causation when loading ?
