    Recommendations for a 311299 clone?

Considering a 311299 mold for my Garand loads. Interested in the Accurate 31-200L mold. Supposed to be very similar to the Lyman 311299

    Anybody have this mold?

It is noted that the accurate 31-200L mold shows as 0.303 bore ride nose and 0.315" drive bands.
More like for a 303 brit, though may do well in a Garand with larger throat, etc.

I use the Accurate 31-200L in a Mosin Nagant. I size it to .314, and it works fantastic. The great thing about Accurate, is that you specify your dimensions. It's a great design, and Accurate molds are hard to beat.

NOE is closer to the Lyman nose, which is almost a pointed bullet.

Accurate's mfg method does not allow for a pointed nose so you see the flat tip.

The advantage with Accurate is you can specify the bore riding diameter. Measure your bore and input it in the order. If powder coating make sure to reduce the dia by ~.002"

Thanks for the replies. Will of course verify the bore dimensions of the rifles. One barrel was brand new when I built it. The others are in excellent shape.
I have considered the NOE version. Yes, good molds. But I've never purchased an Accurate mold. So open to adding one to the lineup.
Currently working up a Garand load with an old single cavity 311284. But would like to try the 31-200L.

Not that there is anything wrong with Accurate moulds (I have several), but why not the Lyman version. Either the 311299 or the 314299 are available.

I didn't get the Lyman because it would not fit my barrel properly at the time. I originally did not want to mess with sizing the nose and the Lyman was a really tight fit in my bore (I tried some purchased from Montana BW). If I powder coated them they would not fit at all.

So, I ordered from Accurate because I could specify the nose dia for a max that will allow for powder coating. I have started nose sizing simply to get more consistent fit to the bore.

    "why not the Lyman version"
Nothing against Lyman molds. Have many. But would rather buy a mold made to my specifications based on measuring my barrels.
