    WTS: 158gr .357 LRN, box of 1000

The box of 1,000 has been opened only for the photograph. Midway's price for these is $134-$138, plus shipping. I am asking $100 plus actual shipping cost.

The first "I'll take it" here, followed by an IM gets the bullets. IMs without a note here first will be ignored.

I accept USPS M.O., Paypal F&F (or add 4 percent), and personal check (held until cleared).

    Thank you,
    Richard

Could these boolits be used for loading 9mm with a taper crimp?
    Thanks

After reviewing my question.. I think they might be to long

    The .357 Magnum......
    1935
Major Douglas Wesson, using factory loads, which were a 158 gr. soft lead bullet, traveling 1515 fps, from an 8 3/4" barreled S&W, producing 812 ft. lbs of muzzle energy.
    Antelope - 200 yards (2 shots)
    Elk - 130 yards (1 shot)
    Moose - 100 yards (1 shot)
    Grizzly Bear - 135 yards (1 shot).

It kind of makes one wonder, why today, it will bounce off anything bigger than a rabbit

Too long, too fat and, to my mind, too heavy. I've been running 121 cast and 124 jacketed for nigh on 50 years. Haven't even tried the 147-gr bullets for sub-sonic.

    I know; boring.

    Cheers, Richard
