Big Horn Armory models 89 and 90

I'm gobsmacked after looking through big horn armory web site. Maybe just one last gun for the bucket list?
has anyone handled or shot one of these.
What are your opinions on these most powerful lever guns?

I had the 89 Spike Driver. It was a work of art. I wish I had kept it.

One will flat move a shooter out from under their hat.....

Seems to me they would be a lot of fun, at least for a boolit caster. But unless you planned to shoot full power loads a color cased hardened Henry in 45-70 would do the job for a lot less money. Certainly beautiful one of a kind rifles. The fancy walnut and color case hardening would be the way to go imho.

I was thinking the same, what can they do that a 1886 45/70 can't do, for alot less $$$?

My neighbor just walked a Maple stocked B.H.A. rifle N.I.B. over here last night chambered in .500 S&W he bought for $1500.00 on auction . He said it was one of the early one with the Maple stock and most likely would sell it,he only bid on it because it was cheap and he won it. He should buy a lottery ticket as well .
