Dillon Powder Bar - Who Makes This

Picked up a nice Dillon Square Deal 9mm loader over the week end. Loader was in decent shape and a good price. Going through the loader I noticed this powder bar adjuster and I decided I like it and want more. The maker is nowhere on the part. I've done numerous searches and can not find anything. Anyone know who makes/made this?

The Mr. Dial's are brass, this is stainless.

I think that style used to be made by a company called Uniquetek.

They are still around but make a micrometer head style attachment now.

Or just to offer an option, a cap from a carton of 1/2&1/2, filled with epoxy putty and pressed over the head of the bolt on the measure. Oil the bolt first, and then the cap just slips off when you want.
But it doesn't fall off.

Titan reloading makes a knob for this, it’s listed under their Dillon products press accessories. They also make a precision dial under Titan products.

I nosed around on an image search and found one like that having been made by an outfit called R&R Precision Machine, who used to be on the bay. I didn't locate any current info, though.

Check evil bay, there are quite a few manufacturers of 3d printed slip on knobs all the way up yo Armanov, clickable powder measure knobs. I just use the supplied wrench, it prevents accidental adjustments when your doing other fiddling with the toolhead. The slip off kind is awesome since you can move it to other powder bars and other presses.

I keep forgetting which direction to twist to increase or decrease the amount. So I put arrows on the drops.

I invested in a precision micrometer handle. Way overkill. I thought I'd be able to return to previous settings, but it doesn't work out that way. It's still "twist, throw, throw, throw, weigh" until it settles down.




A simple large knob is best for me:

I also like the idea of epoxy putty inside a half-and-half cap. Wish I'd thought of it. I tried that trick with 1/2" PVC pipe pieces. Didn't work well. Too small and not gripable.

I keep track of the dial settings for any given load. When going back to that load I rarely have to modify the setting. Did you install the micrometer bar correctly
