I was chatting with my doctor at my last appointment.
He asked what I have been doing.
I told him about my vegetable garden that I planted and how I was having to deal with some gophers.
I told him that I felt like Elmer Fudd trying to catch Bugs Bunny.
He said "This may sound crazy, but it works"
"Get some Juicy Fruit gum sticks and put one or two in the hole.
The scent will make them eat it but they can't digest it and they ultimately die from the blockage.
It works for ground squirrels also."
After the appt. I went and bought a couple of packs of the gum and put it in some gopher holes and some ground squirrel holes.
The next day I went to check the ground squirrel holes and I saw where the gum stick had been moved out of the hole and looked like the squirrel covered it up with dirt.
With the gophers, I do not see any new activity but it is too soon to really know.
Any experience using Juicy Fruit gum like this?
