    Uberti 1861 Navy on Midway

Will someone, anyone, PLEASE explain the difference between these two revolvers other than the price?

Just thought I'd take a look myself. All pertinent numbers are different. ??

    https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018143059?pid=249081 Product #: 249081 Manufacturer #: 340630 UPC #: 037084406305

    https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1002298765?pid=234572 Product #: 234572 Manufacturer #: 0063 UPC #: 839665000007

I'd call Midway to answer this one. This part number is not valid on Uberti's website: 0063

The one on sale for $339.00 specs say walnut grips .
The other specs say ...wood .
Reading the spec's , that's the only difference . Both spec . steel frame color case hardened .

The photo's are of no help ...same revolver ...look real carefully ...same photo I believe .

One on on sale and one isn't. While the pictures are of the same gun the descriptions are different. Not an uncommon marketing mistake.

Its been months since I bought the book, "How to scam people online". It still has not arrived yet!

If you look at the grips you will see a difference in the wood grain.
Could be they were purchased as a different lot from Uberti.

The second item (234572) is an error. The listed Uberti Mfg PN is bogus and the UPC code is for a Taylor's & Company 45 Colt revolver at about $550. End of mystery. The $339 price is correct for the 36 Navy.

Midway has been informed. The sad news is that some folks probably paid $399 for the very same revolver another paid $339 for. I hate to ask it but has MidwayUSA gotten too large now with all the fishing junk too? I was always taught to stick to your core business and do it well. If MidwayUSA wants to become Bass Pro, then their performance will rival Bass Pro too. It will suck.

I would hope that Midway will audit their sales of product 234572 and refund anyone who paid the extra $60 for the gun.

By the way, here is the link showing what the UPC code is for Midway product 234572, the $399 "1851".

Perhaps somebody got lucky and MidwayUSA shipped a 45 Colt revolver to some poor schmucks home? Boy the ATF would love that.

Come on Larry, get back to the core business and just do what you used to do so very well.
