FYI - 44-77 Brass Cartridge Dimensions

    .
I have been looking ALL OVER for the Specs (Dimensions) of the 44-77
    Cartridge Brass. Can't find it.

I remembered that I bought a book long ago that might have that information....
"The Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions" 4th Edition
By John J. and Judy Donnelly ! Data source in book, COTW 4th, pg 118.

So I put together this diagram for myself. page 342 left

I will share it with all who are interested. Just FYI.

These dimensions are from the Book - I take no responsibility for their accuracy.
I did add conversions from English to Metric - rounded off to 0.1mm.

I, personally, am using this Brass to shoot in a .43 Spanish (Argentine) Rolling Block.

I would just like to ask -
WHOM does our Current Government represent, anyway ? !

It sure as Heck doesn't represent ME ! How about you ?
Seems to be just a Big Mafia run by the current set of criminals in office.
Have we EVER been this close to losing our Country ? !

I have some Bertram .44-77 that I use in my .43 Spanish. Run it thru the full sizer die and it works just fine.

I'm going the other direction and using .43 Mauser brass to load for my Rolling Block in .44-77 SBN. I actually had to thin the rims slightly to allow the breech block to fully close. I got a bunch of .43 Mauser loaded ammo from an estate cheap, so pulled the bullets, dumped powder, and reworked them to fit my Rolling Block Sporter.

The dimensions above are spot on from what I've seen. I have Nonte's guide to cartridge conversions. Great books.

I have Jamison .44-77 brass I use in my #1 Rolling block with a barrel chambered by C. Sharps Arms. I can measure the fired brass if you'd like.
