    WTB 300 RUM brass

Trying to do a hunting buddy a favor, so I will ask: Anyone got some 300 RUM brass they are willing to part with? Can pay cash of course. If you are dying to trade, I am willing to do so. Got lead, smelted pewter, cast bullets, possibly molds, ask away.

Not the short action (SAUM), just RUM.

If you can't find any anywhere else, give me a few days to check. I may have some new Norma or some 1x RP

There is no problem so great, that it cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives.

I was just in R. W. Hart gun shop in Nescpeck Pa. 570-752-3655. I just had him re-barrel a RUM and he has Peterson brass on the shelf. They are a somewhat new player in the brass game but come highly recommended as match quality brass. Also you could check D&L Sports in Montana. A few weeks ago they had new Federal 300 RUM advertised in stock. I purchased some from them in the past and was pleased with it.

Make sure to tell him to aneel them as they dont grow on trees. I just pulled loads I had sitting around for 20 years with my 300 rum and did mine along with my 375 RUM casings. I bought a 100 375 RUM casings a while back for $3ea...when they were going for $6-9 each on average. The last I checked on 300 RUM they were $3 or more a case. If I didn't have my own good, obsolete, casing stash of each I'd be selling both rifles off. Between using a 100 or more grains of powder for each loading, expensive shells, and not getting match grade accuracy after all that to boot I dont see a benefit of either rifle. I have a timey trigger, kdf brake, and hs prescion stock on the 300 RUM. It kicks like a 243 and will blow your ear drums out without ear protection. I learned the hard way with blood coming out of my ear years ago. They are both novelty guns IMO.
