I recently bought some copper muzzleloader bullets to use in my Optima. The bullet recommends a 1:30 twist. Would the bullet still work in this Optima? (1:28) Your thoughts.

Probably work just fine. Load them up and try them. What weight are the bullets? The twist rate difference is pretty small for a muzzle loader.
Oh should be perfectly fine, especially for copper bullets....but as said for a muzzle stuffer the difference is very small.

1-28 is actually a faster twist so I'm thinking to the +, but like the others stated, not that much difference.
Aim small, miss small!
Thanks. That is what I thought. I bought them in case the state pushes for lead free ammo for hunting. They are 350 grain in a sabot.
