Anybody know what alloy these are made of?
Guys at the Club are shooting piles of them and they’re easy to see to recover.
Sorry if this has already been discussed. Did a search and no cigar…
Thanks!

Do not know the alloy. The coating used to give you blue fingers, I hear that it no longer does but I’m still shooting old inventory, no idea what they are using these days for the coating. Have shot thousands of them.
There's a fella here on CB's forum that used to X-ray samples of lead and give you the exact alloy percentages.
I think his forum name is 'BNE' ... my memory is not so good.
Locate him, follow his directions for sending the sample and find out PDQ.

I have shot literally tens of thousands of the 9mm 147gr (actually 150) Truncated Cone and Round Nose. My CZ's prefer the .356 options over the .355.
Its a very hard alloy. I have recovered projectiles that went into sand and they look like I could reload them again, with the exception of the rifleing marks engraved in it.
I can shoot thousands of rounds and clean the barrel with a few patches. Thier coating just plain works. I have a backlog of the older polycoat that does leave a bit of color on your fingers. I have a bunch of the newer formula that supposedly does not leave any residue, but I have not shot that yet.
From The Website:
What's our coating? Our coating is a proprietary polymer based liquid coating that we mix in house (not a powder coating.) The bullets are sized after the coating has cured to ensure a consistent and round bullet.
