    Back home from the hospital

I just got home from having my right shoulder replacement, with a reverse joint version. Had a lot more RA and damage then previously thought. But had a wonderful staff of surgeons and nurses guiding me through it. Adena Hospital here in southern Ohio is amazing!

Nerve block wore off at 3:54am this morning, not that I noticed! LOL staying ahead of the pain though.

Hope to get left shoulder replaced this fall. Then it’s back to shooting some matches and even trying my hand at some BP Sharps Rifles!

Only 51, so need to get fixed up for the next 50!

Glad it went well . . . . now don't un-do the good job by pushing it too soon! Hope each day gets better. Keep up that positive attitude and you'll soon be back up to snuff - and the next one you'll know what to expect and you'll soon have it behind you and be able to do that shooting! Keep us posted on how you're doing.

I went through rotator cuff surgery in November do all recommend exercises. Took me 4 months and a bit of pain but my shoulder is 95%. Which is the best it’s been in 20 years.

Take it easy and heal up right. All the shooting and other stuff will still be there when you're well. Wishing you a smooth recovery.

Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. Just regular pain today, which I can handle.

Yes, not going to push it! Have to get it healed up so the left one gets replaced the end of the year. Have two weeks before PT, surgeon wants the muscles to heal more since no tendon was savaged.

Been out of shooting way too long! But yes it will be there when I get back. Hear OH has several good GSSF and IDPA shoots around here, would be nice to be able to lift my G34s again and shoot a match or two a month.

Keep up with the physical therapy and do the exercises they recommend at home. You will be 100% in no time as long as you do your part.

    All the best.
