I have a M98 rifle that was manufactured in 1944 in Czechoslovakia, and it has a Redfield Peep Sight on it and I would like to mount a scope on it to allow me to do some longer range target shooting, and possible some hunting.
Anyone have any suggestions for a scope mount on this rifle that does not require drilling and tapping as I don't want to alter it.

I have several Mausers that I use the S&K scope mount .
They work great as long as you like the long eye relief scopes.
I have three different brands of scopes I use with this mount.
I do not have a real preferance between them.
But then , I don't shoot the rifles much or in any kind of competition.
