    I should re-paint my critter...

The rifle is Mendoza Rm600 22 cal.

    It's nice to shoot.
The upper paddle falls when struck, and the lower paddle is the reset.
Pellets from czech republic, called falcon if I remember correct.
Rear sight is replaced with a Williams peep sight.
Knocking the paddles at twenty yards is very easy.
I think I'll repaint my critter tomorrow.

Offhand,, Right? if it's that easy move back until it's not as easy.

I repaint mine for my son when he requests fresh orange paint. On calm days he backs up to 35-45 yards if he’s shooting my springer. His crossman pump keeps his range limited otherwise.

If you are hitting consistent 4 out of 5 shots at a given range, like the man said, its time to move back a few steps. You will never improve unless you keep challenging yourself. my take anyway, james

Buy a smaller target. I have some that have several different size kill zones.

That will certainly make you a better shooter at that given distance but it will do nothing for making you a better shot overall. A good shooter can make his shots count at different distances and that only comes by shooting at different distances. my experience anyway, james

Neco wafers make really good Airgun Targets. They explode when hit providing instant feedback. Once you can hit them 8/10 off hand at 10 yards move back to 15 yards and start over. And so on in 5 yard steps.

Hitting a 1" dia round target consistently at 25 yards is not that easy, but you can do it if you try hard enough.
