Can anyone tell me the length of the steel pin on the non-threaded end of a Lee .458 Win Mag Case Length Gauge? I’m wanting to trim some 45-70 cases slightly longer than standard and am wondering if there is enough length on the .458 to trim it back to size, with the goal being to produce a case with an OAL length 2.13”. Thanks!
If you do metal work you can make a pin of whatever length you want. If you don't there are several people here who might be willing to make one for you. It's not hard.

Thanks Wayne, that’s a good option to keep in mind. I figure the ready made ones are cheap enough that if I find one that just requires a touch on the grindstone to bring it to size, it’ll save some work for myself or someone else. The trick is figuring out which one that is!
