Last summer i bought some led strip lights to attach to my kayak only to find out from the kayak manufacturer as well as 3m that there was not an adhesive made that would stick to my kayak material. So during the winter i thought here and there how to attach my lights. A couple a weeks ago it came to me in a dream. My kayak has rails for accessory attachments. Ive been using paddle holders to mount my spot/flood combo light, not ideal for various reasons. The dream was to get pvc pipe that fit the paddle holder slots and make a frame that went around the kayak, sticking the lights to it.

To finish it off, i used clear shrink wrap to protect everything from water and light impact.
Also picked up a pure spot light since i wasnt happy with the distance i was getting from the combo.

This was before i adjusted the spots:

After i adjusted i can see jugs out to about 200 to 300 yards id guess, i used a range finder and the maximum distance i can see shore is 750 yards. Im impressed.

Unplanned, but the string i use for my jugs is yellow and reacts strongly to my blue light. I can use just my blue and see my jugs out to probably 40 yards.

This one is all at once from the outside view.

Overall, very happy with how it turned out.

Caught 7 pounds of fillets last night.
