Does anyone sell angle-iron ingot molds?

Ingots cast in angle-iron molds look really space efficient so I'd like to cast mine like that, but I don't have a welder to fabricate my own. Does anyone sell them? I'm looking for nominally one pound ingots. Thanks.

If you get the stock, say from Home Depot, and cut the lengths,
about any welding, mechanics or car body shop will zap it together for ya pretty cheap.

joe leadslinger was a welder/fabricator, he makes and sells nice angle iron molds.

(I made my own angle iron molds but they don't hold a candle to his.

Joe also made this for me, (notice the "skirt" with breather vents to allow flame up and around the sides

I got mine from DCockett, a member here, but it seems he isn't on the forums anymore. I don't use them anymore, as I prefer bigger molds and have several of Lakehouse's CastBoolits 4 cavity ingot molds. He also made my half propane tank processing pot.

There are a couple of fellows here on this forum that make and sell them. You'll have to search through the Swappin' & Sellin' ads to find them.

Greetings; I fashioned mine from "C-Channel" so that the ingots fit between the garage wall studs; a beautiful place to store them, I thought. I cut/ground the "C=Channel" ends at a slight angle so as not to trap any lead. The angle iron end caps also make for secure handles.

Dividing the 15#-20# pieces for use in the Lee Bottom Pour Pot was an oversight for sure. Ever try cutting lead or drilling a hole in it; whew? I scrounged 2, approx. 2"x4" pieces of aluminum. A few moments after the pour, I placed them into the ingot, then let cool. They should NOT be exact matches of the mold profile, just so these temporary 'partitions' provide a definite weak spot in the ingot, but still allows it to be carried.

When needed, place the "fractured" ingot on a stick or some junk & stand on it to fracture. Simple & effective.

I'd consider making them, but USPS Flat Rate box is near #20 now; so what would anyone be willing to pay to make it worthwhile? I didn't say no...

P.S. Stamp them CWW [clip on wheel weights] or SWW [stick on wheel weights] or ? so ya dun forget the source for future alloying, like adding another 2% Pewter/tin.
