BRNO numer 3 match rifle Value?

I ran across a BRNO number 3 match rifle today while I was running around.
I didn't inspect it in detail, but the exterior was in excellent condition. They have the magazine for it.
No sights but the bases were there.
This one has a "bulge" in the stock at the forearm. It is also nicely checkered on the forearm and grip areas.
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. I also didn't look down the bore.
It wasn't what I went there looking for but got to thinking about it later.
I know nothing about these rifles other than they are the predecessor to CZ rifles.
    They want $650 for it.
Assuming it has a good bore, what is it worth?

It looks like this except the wood is dark walnut and the stock has checkering.

I should also include the question, How do they compare in accuracy to the new CZ varminter and MTR rifles?

I'd ask what sights came with it before plunking down that money. By the time you bought a decent set of target sights you could easily add around $200 to the cost. And chances are that the base on the front of the barrel is metric. Redfield used to make target sights for many rifles with the adaptor bases to fit the rear sight to. Ask the dealer about sights. Many may sell the rifles without sights and either offer them as an option or flip them on e-bay or one of the auction houses. If it didn't come with the target sights too much money in my opinion. My feeling is, I can buy a new CZ varmint for about the same money and have a system that is easier to get scoped. Unless these are something really special, I won't take it any further.
    I want a shooter, not a collector's item.
I can't use peep sights anymore in any case. Bad eyes, old eyes, just don't work like they used to.

For a shooter I’d be buying new.

Based on my 452 Military Trainer, the receiver scope rail is probably 11mm rather than 3/8" - not an issue; BKL scope rings solve that problem.

Quick search got me this: https://jggunsmith.wordpress.com/201...rno-22-rifles/

$650 seems plenty fair. Found an archival thread on a forum selling one for $600 back in 2007, claiming it was originally obtained for $850. Considering that it's a gun that will probably hang with Winchester 52's for grouping for a lot less money, I'd be sorely tempted.
    WWJMBD?

Weaver quad lock rimfire rings also work on 11mm dovetails. At least they did on my CZ 452 and a new to me Savage-Anschutz Match 64, the single shot version.
