It's about to get much, much worse.

Oh, the media won't talk about it, or may even completely ignore it, but the cost of things are going to go way, way up.

When you pump trillions of dollars of fake money into the economy, what do you expect is going to happen??

But, at least my employer addressed the issue by giving me a $.50 an hour raise last month. That's a whole $80 a month to combat the $300 a month or so increase in cost of goods and services this month.

We are witnessing the implosion of the American economy. Fasten your seat belts.

    Very true.

IF... You do not have food stockpiles, now is the time to start as prices are getting ready to surge.

And now our Queen . . . I mean Governor of Michigan wants to shut down another pipeline, which if she gets her way, will mean more loss of good paying jobs and shortages for MI, IN,OH, PA and others. Shortages mean one thing - higher and higher prices - cut off of petroleum means higher prices for not only fuel, but everything made from petroleum.

I hope all the folks who voted for Biden - including those who voted more than once and the "dead" voters who "rose" from the grave to vote, enjoy having to spend more money and higher taxes - maybe they think the government will give them more "free money" to take up the slack?

Funny how Biden and his Socialists blame any problem as something they "inherited from Trump" - but fail to give him credit for him getting necessary medical supplies and vaccine on the way. The Leftist Socialists wanted power and they got it by hook or by crook - now they are plainly showing how incompetent they are and how little the care about all American Citizens and taxpayers. Maybe Biden and Harris should be more interested in getting kids back to school and less time accepting political donations from teacher's unions? Maybe require all kids to take a basic geography course - and both of them be required to take it so they can find their way to the southern border in order to see the complete mess they have made of it and the related crisis of human trafficking, increases drugs traffic, kids being molested by sexual predators, etc. - all of which they and their Leftist cronies should, but never will, take responsibility for. They are more intent on turning our great country into a third world country , , , , while they line their pockets.

And barry before Biden, he blamed Busch after stating during his campaign that he was more than up for the job. People still vote for them over and over. I just don't fathom how stupid (insane?) people can be.

Another sad fact is that the increasing number of ummmmm, folks who prefer to sit home and collect government checks, will give thanks to Joe and his minions in stead of the working people who pay for them. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.

I am still waiting for the Biden supporters to list his accomplishments to date. Not intended to provoke arguments, etc as this is not the pit, but to please list accomplishments.

Fed is going to let inflation run, say it will be short term - ha. We've been inflationary since Carter, with bad periods before that. Reading about the broken 'M' bridge, cost 35M$ to build, in today's $, 1.5B$. Daily cost of 'going around' is >1M$. Some Ca engg says bridge design is the problem and it will break again - so build another one! Guess what is going to happen? Carter and Clinton took a lot of stuff off the inflation 'calculator' to hide it.
    Whatever!

Ha, popper, heard about the I40 bridge over the Mississippi at West Memphis? Major structural break, Not crack in one of the lower main beams. Initially thought to broken recently, but 2019 camera footage from the last major inspection showed about a 90% crack on outer and lower side. Only top of the beam remained intact at that time. Oh, the did fire the inspector this week. Estimated $3 Million plus PER DAY to go around the closed bridge for just trucking. Rough estimate 3 to 6 MONTHS to replace and reopen, my guess is end of the year. Oh, btw, Barge traffic was initially stopped also, don't know if that will remain closed. Anyone realize how much grain moves up and down the river? Billions.....

Things are going to get worse before they get better. Ultimately that is the goal, tear it down as it is now, them build it back up how "they" want it.

A bit off topic but has anyone noticed how much Obama is back in the news? He is still the political darling and not just in the U.S.

For the last 5 years the price has fluctuated from about $1.10 to $1.20. Going back 10 more years there are some swings outside that range, but the average is around $1.10 to $1.20.

Interest rates are still paying 0.50% annually. I had 401K funds that earned over 30% last year. The banks will always run slower and common folk will suffer.

THe value of the Euro was not on a par with the dollar last year. I dont know where you got your info but last year the Euro was worth 1.19-1.23 dollars. Today it is 1.23 not much of a change. I just want to compare apples to apples. Inflation is going to get worse. Mihec may have raised prices for many reasons but the value of the dollar wasnt one of them.

Not a Biden supporter, but here goes...

    1) Joebama gets his right shoe on his right foot and left on left foot (nearly every day)
    2) Successfully opened the border to allow more potential (D) voters into the USA, thus leveling the playing field tilted toward "The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" that Bill and Hill unearthed.
    3) Has not set the White House on fire (yet)
    4) Cancelled XL pipeline and doing everything in his newfound power to reduce Americans' energy independence, thus helping Americans embrace the bravo sierra green movement
    5) Has not launched a preemptive nuclear strike against any red states
    6) Has incentivized silver and gold purchases, by colluding with Schumer and Pelosi to pass massive dollars for votes schemes
    7) Has helped Americans understand that part of what makes America great is private ownership of firearms for self-defense and prevention of tyranny
    8) Has made people reflect on George Orwell's book 1984 and rethink "It can't happen here"

    Pretty good!

Don't forget that he has also legitimized anti-Semitism and racism against whites by refusing to rebuke the Jew-haters and black racists in Congress. Jimmy Carter should be sending Joe Biden a thank you note every day for relieving him of the title of the worst Democratic President in recent history.
