Hi all. Looong time lurker. Purchased an elderly friends reloading equipment and this was in the bottom of a box of molds. It fits nothing that was in his equipment. I think its a sizer of some kind, just don't know. Any help is appreciated.

A bullet sizer.
Reduce the issue, ignore the drama
It should fit the Lyman hand tool.

Yeah it looks like the dies that go to the 310 tong tool.
Thanks for the help, knowing what it was. A quick search in the casting and hand tool section told all I needed to know.
I strongly advise against using it in a tong tool, especially not an aluminum one... not enough leverage and probably marginal for strength as well. OTOH, in a little TruLine Jr it will work very well. A little less nostalgic, but also satisfactory, would be to use a standard press with a bushing (still available from Lyman.) Lee is still making essentially the same thing only in a “full size” die.
