    .660 ball thru a .680 choke?

I literally have no idea what subforum this belongs in, lol....there doesnt seem to be a 'shotgun' forum.

Anyway...I have a .660 mold coming to cast lead balls for some fun with my 12 gauges.
I just got a 'turkey' choke (tight choke but flush mount, not the typical turkey choke that we see everywhere) that is .680.
I realize .660 is smaller than .680, but I dont personally have any experience with this sort of thing.

Is it ok to load up the .660's and shoot them thru this choke?
Should I not use a shot cup with petals to keep it from being too tight?

There is a shotgun forum below...You might make it work in a thick wad.

Look below under "Casting and Reloading" . . . .

    It is a sub-forum titled "Casting and Reloading For Shotgun" . . . .

Not hard to find . . . "seek and ye shall find" . . . . there are shotgunners there who can answer you question.

I would take out they turkey choke and put in a modified one. Most turkey chokes say not to use slugs. No reason to ruin the gun.
