These are my pet loads worked up for a 1911 AMT Hardballer . 200 grain RF or SWC cast boolit sized .452 . General purpose range loads for paper targets and tin cans ... based on whatever powder you can get your hands on ...shortages suck rocks .
These fully function the 5" AMT Hardballer .
45 acp / 200 gr. cast rnfp or swc / sized .452 / Lithi-Bee lube
4.5 grs. W231 / HP38 = 808 fps
4.5 grs. Bullseye = 830 fps
4.7 grs . AA #2 = 832 fps
4.0 grs. Titegroup = 860 fps
4.2 grs. Red Dot = 794 fps
4.0 grs 700X = 824 fps
Hope this helps get you started .

I like it over HP-38/231. You may have to seat it fairly deep.
Thanks to both of you. I've got lots of Bullseye and Red Dot. I think I have a can of 700X also.
