My operation is pretty small. I have a couple of the LEE lead melting pots and a Lyman ingot mold. But I like what you others have setup and are doing though.

The small squares are 5 pounders, the bricks are the 10 pound ingots. I needed a bigger mold so I could empty the pot faster, and the 10 pound ingots still fit in the 40 pound pot on the Master Caster. I'm now making a pot out of a propane tank. And let me tell you the price of steel angle iron has increased astronomically. But, this setup has given me about 4,000 pounds of alloy, so no complaints.

MOA I to have melted about 4,000lbs of lead but not all with the setup I have now.You have allready done what i am going to do if I ever get alot more lead to clean up.That is get the ingots off the ground. In the 10 oe so years i been collecting lead i am not getting any younger and every little this helps. Yes steel prices ar hi right now I am a tool and die maker in a stamping plant.the steel has gone way up and alot of things they use are getting harder to get.

I'm just finishing up the last of the rough lead into ingots. The new pot will be mostly used for mixing specific alloys for specific cartridge requirements. I've still got lots of testing to do on alloy mixing.

I had converted a Weber grill that neighbors down the street had put out for collection. Walked that suckered almost a 1/4 to my place. Works for me and when I had neighbors the lid really hid what I was doing and cut way down on the smoke.

Put a turkey fryer in it and cit the bottom of the charcoal pan to fit the cut off propane tank. Can handle 150lbs with no problems. Used a welding blanket as a wind screen.
