    Way cool.

If I'd ever seen flare rounds-- I'd have bought a few just to play around with.

My lgs used to have a ton of those Karlyn flares in different calibers. I never talked to anyone who had tried them, they had a big auction about ten years ago and all that cool old odd ball stuff was sold. The powder measure looks just like the one I grew up using with my muzzleloaders. Mine went from 50-120 grains in ten grain increments.

Those Flaigs trigger shoes are something you don't very often see at gun shows in Pa., let alone Hawaii. Flaigs was an interesting gun shop, I was there many times with my dad and his buddies when I was growing up. Millvale is just north of Pittsburgh.

Since everything else has been mentioned, I'll take a stab at the last two.

Those .50 cal bore inspection mirrors can also be used for a 12 gauge.

And for the primers, are they the complete battery cup, or are they the ones to reprime only?

    He amazes me too.
I'd figure way out there on a tropical island there wouldn't be much else besides coconut tress and sea shells.
