This is an aluminum, 2 cavity mould, with box and instructions. The box says it throws a 380 grn, .451 bullet, cast checked. I bought it used, not on this site, some years ago.
Here's the thing: Neither cavity is gas checked. I cast a couple experimental bullets, and they weigh .355-.356, and they mic at .456. I don't know if the mould was altered (if so, very professionally done, I can't tell) Or, what seems more likely, the box is mismatched to the mould. The bullets are round nosed with a very wide meplat. They have two grease grooves. I think they would be just the thing as hunting rounds in a lever action.
I'll ship the whole shebang (box, instructions, mould, allen wrench and the bullets for $50.00, shipped, though I can't get this into a USPS small flat rate box.
