    estate sale score

I saw an add for an estate sale and saw a reloading room full of stuff, off I went. Well I missed the primers but I did score a Harrell's Precision premium measure, looks like new they are 250, I can not hardly believe I paid 20 bucks for it. I next to never get lucky like this, most of time I think I got a deal and it is junk.

It's fun to pick up a score once and a while. Congratulations!

If you had scored a few thousand primers at similar price I would have really been impressed, but getting a Harrell’s powder measure (any model) for $20 qualifies as a gift. Congrats.

I was sadden when I saw the guy in front of purchase primer at 2 cents apiece. Had I looked at the email last night I might have had a chance at them.

I picked these up from an online auction in April.

I had decided I needed to get into bullet casting so I started gathering tools. Actually researched the items on the flat through this forum. I paid $81.23 with fees and tax.

I took a gamble on this in case it had parts for the above picture. Paid $81.23. The sizers are Lyman in the most common pistol calibers and two rifle sizers, a bunch of Lyman top punches, the dies for the Herter's 9 ton and 3 Ideal single cavity bullet molds with a pair of Lyman Handles. The dies where 245499, 429303 and a 429383. Long story short, I keep the star sizer, top punches, Lyman sizing dies and the Lyman 429383 and handle. The Herters 9 ton, and the two dies were listed on eBay which closed last night. The Herters with dies, some complete, some not went to a new home for $255, the 245499 sold for 56.50, the 429303 for $57. I think I did pretty well.

I enjoy a good score too, but I feel a wee bit uneasy wondering if I may be taking advantage of some reloader's widow. If it's only the heirs and no surviving widow in the picture, then I have no qualms. Just saying...
