    Powder is showing up

Over the last month I have gotten 8 lbs. of AA 2230, 3 lbs. of AA 2460, 3 lbs. of Ramshot Tac, 2 lbs. of H 110 and 2 lbs. of H 335. All these are produced by Hodgdon if I'm not mistaken. Hoping that Alliant powders start showing up so we can get Unique and 2400 again. These came from Powder Valley and Mid South. And the prices have been good at about $28 a pound which is much less than my lgs was selling it for when they had it.

Clays is good stuff and a pound goes a long way.

That's not too bad in this market.

LGS has some powder at the same or slightly higher prices as “normal”. I have plenty so left it there. Selection is very limited.

I paid $31-33 per lb today for Power Pistol, Unique and 2400. LGS probably had 40-50 lbs total so I picked up two lbs of each.

Unique and 2400 are like gold in my mind. I've been using HS 6 and saving the former because, well, just because.

I stopped at Guns Unlimited out of habit today, and found a bunch of Hodgdon and Winchester powders in stock. I had been looking for CFE Pistol for my .38 Special. I still need Varget and 4064.

I just ordered an 8 lb jug of Accurate #5 from Gunbrokers no less. After $55 shipping it came to $274 total. Which is $34 per pound. That's the going rate here in California so I was happy to get it.

As I live close enough to Midsouth, I kept their page on my screen, refreshed throughout the day and picked up a few pounds of powder I was looking to plus up on, all under $30 a lb, just missing some H4350 for the 6.5CM, but should pop up soon, if not I have plenty of alternatives.

About a month ago LGS had several different powders and I picked up two pounds of Clays. It comes and goes. I forgot to mention it was $23/lb.

I picked up some H 335 FOR $32/LB, didn't think that was terrible.

If only some primers would shake loose I'd be set

Went by the LGS today and he had 10-12 different powders, got a pound of RL10x for $45. I wanted some more for my .223's and Lead Boolet loads in the Krag and .308. He had small and large pistol primers too, but at $125/145 a K I left them there!

I was able to get 3 lbs of Hodgdon CFE Pistol this week from Powder Valley. $104.00 shipped. I was happy with that.
