Once, when I was driving through a rural county, I glanced over and saw an escaped emu pacing my car. I called 911 and reported it. I stressed to the dispatcher that I do not drink. She laughed and said they had received other calls.

And there you have it, all those on cast boolits will know how the saying started. I may have to find a situation today to quote it.

I used to work with a fella who lived next door to a " private " zoo in north west Pennsylvania .
He bought himself a nice double rifle in .416 rigby just in case Africa came for a visit

Too bad I live so far from the local zoo. I've been looking for an excuse to get a big magnum rifle someday...

so why on earth did some TWIT tazer it????? were they hoping to drop it to its knees and then be able to jump on it and hog tie it or something??????? now being in the USA one would have thought it would have been lassooed with a garden hose or some such...but tazered???

I can testify, after once accidentally zapping a horse with a cattle prod, that introduction of electricity to the equine species produces a sudden and enthusiastic "giddyup!" immediately.
