    Nosler 2nd's visual blemishes

You guys ever got any of the Nosler brass labeled as Factory Seconds visual imperfections? Any real issues or any reason not to pick some up just to use for plinking and what not? Is it all useable or does some get scrapped?

Whatever they let out of the factory--- I wouldn't have any problem with it.
If there were any serious problems or issues, they'd scrap them their selves.

After FL sizing, trimming, then checking the weights, and they came up good,
    I'd use them for everything.

I used to shoot Sierra seconds when I could buy them by the pound in paper bags at their plant in California. Usually a tit of led on the nose to be twisted off or some staining on the gliding metal - but shot just as good as their premium bullets. I've bought seconds off Midway unlabeled by company so could be Nosler or Hornaday. Again, just as accurate. I would prefer them for the lower price if I could find a reliable source. Don't think there is anybody local who makes bullets, and Sierra only sells from the plant. Long hike from here!

Agreed ! They wouldn’t leave the factory unless the problem was only cosmetic.

I’ve got about nine-hundred of them right now, and they shoot less than 1 moa out of my .357max (five shots). I’ll take all I can get

The issues with what the manuf call (seconds) is cosmetic you can bet on that no manuf is gonna sell or give away defective product especially something that is used in a firearm.

Based on all the good feedback I've got some brass and bullets on the way. I suspected they'd probably be fine coming from Nosler but it wasn't a great deal so wanted to know for sure before buying.
