Look what I found in the pawn shop

Been wanting a Benji 392 for a long time but couldn't relay ever justify the price since I got a PCP , well was in the pawn shot earlier and saw they had this girl up for only $75.00 ! Went ahead and snagged her on up and I'm looking at a nice little scope mount for another$50

You'll have lots of fun with it. I put a nice scope on mine too.

Nothing at all wrong with that.
I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

    Get right with the Lord.
    Get back to the land.
Get back to thinking like our forefathers thought.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
and give you His peace. Let all of the earth – all of His creation – worship and praise His name! Make His
    praise glorious!

Great find! I would have snapped it up too. Have fun finding the pellets it likes, then just enjoy shooting it.

I got mine with my first paycheck from my first job in 1968.
    Its still on the job.

Several years ago, like me--- it was getting old and tired.
I found the guy in Greenville, Texas that sells rebuild parts for them, and put in new pump seals.
It pumps up better now than when it was new.

I think Williams Gunsites made peep sights for them. Depending on the vintage, it may be drilled and tapped for the peep sight.

I put one on my Silver Streak, even with the factory front blade it shrank the groups dramatically.

And with the peep instead of a scope, for me it makes pumping easier.

I can't remember ever finding an airgun at a pawnshop. Around here stuff like that is found in salvage stores, mainly stuff left behind abandoned in storage bins or scavenged from roadside dump sites.
Those renting houses around here have no interest in the stuff they have to clear away when someone leaves the home, usually skipping out on back rent or doing jail time.

One of three salvage store finds I've snagged were a Crosman 10/77 rifle for 20 bucks IIRC. I figured it would need new seals but it turned out to be in perfect condition and 15 years later it still shoots like new.
Another was a Crosman T-38 revolver which I paid too much for but was able to strip it for parts to restore three others.
The last is a 70's old style Daisy Red Ryder. It works but these are so weak they are no better than a wall hanger, which at $10 is all I expected of it.
I wouldn't mind having an older Crosman pump up rifle, so long as there is no plastic to speak of in its construction.

Only thing stopping me from buying one of the recently marketed under lever replicas of the M1A is that some internal parts are plastic and there are already reports of the plastic parts failing in short order.

So $13 and about a half hour later got the new seals in and she's holding air and sling pellets pretty good ! Other than all the old oil an grease on the valve and old seals noting looked too bad but on with the new seals !
