Hollywood Senior Turret Press with 12 gauge set up near here

A guy has this advertised a little over two hours away, priced at 600 bucks. Thoughts?

On another recent Hollywood thread, Pressman said $500 for the press and $500 for the dies.

I gave $250 to my BIL, ten years ago, for his father's almost exact same set up..............mine had two powder and two shot dispensers.

Excellent price for what is pictured, especially as it looks to be in good shape. it is only missing its tie bar, which can be had on Ebay. Jump on it.

As others have said, probably a good price if everything is there. But I think it would be a slow way to load 12 Ga. IF you are just looking to load a few at a time, it may be okay.

If you are looking to load a large quantity for say trap shooting, find a MEC Grabber or similar.

I would jump on it, but I really want one!, I would pay that even if it didn’t have the shotshell dies.

Very nice, does anyone know how that shotshell die works? It looks far different than anything on my Mecs.

I think I have enough old reloading presses to still get around to mounting and using. If anybody is interested, it's in the Kansas City metro area and listed on Facebook market place for about a week now.

I like others would jump on it with the only expectation is for the metallic cartridge portion and learn to use the shotgun part at your leisure and see if if it’s a viable option for your needs.

The market demand for anything Hollywood (reloading, that is) seems to be trending upward steeply. Whether it comes from users, collectors, speculators, or whatever remains to be seen. Whether the demand and high prices will continue also remains to be seen. The price on this package in the OP seems normal or even reasonable in the current climate.
