I'm working on making 7x57 mauser from 30-06 and I quickly designed and printed a holder for the cases to use with the little chop saw. yeah finish is poor, but cleaned them a bit, resized and then cut off extra 29 to 30 thou with my new Lyman. super trimmer. Nifty trimmer. now all within a thou or two of right length

Search for what you're turning the 308 brass INTO, as that is how they're listed. 45 ACP shot shells or ????

.44 Automag, but there's nothing listed. I had understood that it was a custom maker from what the OP said "there is guy on the bay that makes a 3D cut off jig in anything you would want" so I wanted to contact that guy and ask directly.

I need to get my 3D printer finished then I can just print things like that. If you have access to a 3d printer I could get a stl file for that made in 15 minutes tops LOL

I went ahead and set up the file, 1.3" cut-to length vs 1.25" for 45 ACP shotshells, pretty easy. If you PM me an email address I can email you an STL file for it, be sure to let me know if you want it set to cut off at 1.3" or a bit longer. (I scale my stls to "1 unit = 1mm" but have a conversion function in there because it's handy )

(for 300 BO trim and 45 ACP Shot shell trim jigs)

I could use one for 45 ACP shotshell!

Aah, I already have that one set up. I should set up stls for the ones I've done, right now it's all in one OpenSCAD file so I just turn each jig on/off with a switch (set it to true to print / false to not print.)

If Thingiverse would tell me why I can't log in and can't get a password change request reply it'd help, worst case I can make another account there but I'd have to use another email. Nice to keep things mostly on one email
