Heavy Subsonic 357 Loads: Post Your Favorites!

I have been impatiently waiting for my Accurate 35-245P mold to arrive, and it finally got here last week. They seem to drop around 237gr in the scrap alloy I was using. I loaded up some over 10.1gr of Lil'Gun, which was the recommended subsonic loading for the 230gr WCs by Badman Bullets, and wow! 1330fps from my Encore pistol, with some pretty stout recoil. Subsequent tweaks have things around 1150fps, so only a little bit more reduction to go. This got me thinking about what other folks are using for this application. Anyone have boolit/powder combinations to share?

EDIT: Got a chance to do more testing, and my final charge looks like it will be 7.8gr of Lil'Gun.

    Maybe this'll help:

Some of those loads might work in pistols too.

    300gr - 357 Maximum

Projectile: Cast pure Lead and a little Tin in an Accurate Molds 34-310Z. Powdercoat with Smoke's John Deere Green. Swage into BT Sniper's Point Form Die for a large, flat meplat, sized .358 and 1.250 OAL. I tried gas checks, but they diddnt change anything.

    Brass: Starline Brass

    Primer: CCI SRP Magnum

    Powder: Vihtavouri N110 - 10.5gr

Cartridge OAL: 2.2 (with just a light crimp since its for a Contender G2). I have learned thet running it through a Lee FCD for 357Max solves all issues with the long projectile bulging out the case as it is seated. (Que the howling mob because of the FCD. But it works!).

Shoots Subsonic in a 10" MGM Barrel Contender G2, just barely goes Supersonic in a 16" (both with a Liberty Infinity suppressor). Gonna drop it down to 10gr and ensure it is stable at 100yds. Great plinker and a handy little walking around woods gun! The Trijicon Accupoint scope is a bit heavy, but the clarity and brightness of the glass is outstanding.

Those loads have me wondering where the performance ceiling is if I don't seat that long boolit as deeply as possible... my MGM barrel seems to have a good bit of room in it, I bet I could at least get to 1400fps without trouble.

My wife just gave me the thumbs up on a suppressor today, so I need to get an order in... can't wait!

This is shooting the MAXIMUM AND LEGEND. I would like to try some in the mag but have t as yet.

I have a 270g mold I bought for my Whelen and Norma Mag. Last year I got the idea It might make a fun sub load in the legend. I loaded it up with Herco as I have a few pounds and haven't had a use for decades. WOW THE FUN!! I tried some in the maxi as well WOW WOW WOW! Im suprised as I havent checked twist but the maxi shoots "rounder" holes! The legend is 1:16 and gives slight tail wag untill 1200 where the maxi is nice and round down at 950!

ID:	282270 That is an RCBS 200gr 35 Rem devistator. Finished weight is 212gr of soft alloy pushed with 2.7gr of promo, running 775fps. This load is pinpoint accurate @75yds from an Uberti rolling block pistol. No gas check. Used regularly. Seated with concern for usable OAL consideration. Same slug is loaded into 38 special brass and shot from various revolvers. Knocks down steel better than larger calibers.
    Shoot often, Shoot well.
