    Snow this morning

We have about three inches on the ground this morning. Kansas. I have learned the only thing predictable about the weather here is that it is unpredictable.

Can't write off the possibility of frost til late May here, but I can't recall significant snow this late before. Been living here about 25 years.

Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow here in Milwaukee too. Hasn't been much of a spring yet.

Funny thing, Spring was going great guns here. Was remarking to the wife the other day that I can't remember ever seeing the red bud trees blooming so strongly before, almost like there's twice as many of them this year.

We have a frost warning in our area, till thursday. Hoping it doesn't harm the buds in our peach or pear tree.

Snow is forecast to start this evening from that storm you got travelling further east. I put cloches over most of my inground sensitive plants and brought in my flower baskets but I'm irritated that the late snow may impact my currently blossoming apple and cherry trees.

Might have some as far south as Fayetteville AR (I'm right next door.) Down to below 40f right now, and going down to maybe 25 tonight. A few years ago (5 or 6) it snowed here on May 1st. just flurries, and that's all we are supposed to have today.

No chance of snow here in North Florida, but I do note our forecasted low for Wednesday night is 52 which is rather unusual this late in the year. An actual frost just now would be agriculturally disastrous.

April/May is our seasonal dry spell in Florida which is why I chose this time to prep and paint my house. Naturally, it has rained the last two weekends and appears it will do the same for the one coming.

We only got 6 inches last night on the west side of Denver and went down to 9° over night. It's getting warm now 25°.

It snowed here also last night. It was 99.5% melted off and I've been cutting firewood for next winter for the last two days. See the rabbit by the tractor?

Possible snow here later this week. We had a drizzle & freezing rain a few days ago. Had snow on Mother’s Day last year. We never plant the garden till Memorial Day weekend.

They are calling for 3 to 6 inches here tonight, 2 weeks ago it was 84.

Our camp opens on May 1st and every year for the past 5 or 6 years we've had snow that weekend. Last year when the covid stuff hit we didn't get to go the first week. The second weekend it was open and that Saturday it was 29 and we had 8" fall that day. I remember snow in June as a kid, nothing to write home about and it was gone by the afternoon, but it still fell.

Here in the Arkansas the rule of thumb is April 15. This year due to global warming they predict 30 degree temp tonight.

We're still getting down to 26 at night here in the White Mountains of Eastern Arizona. Today it's supposed to get up to 72. Just gotta love it.

Yesterday afternoon I heard that there’s a chance of snow in north Texas; not that far from Kansas. It’s been unseasonably cool even down near the Gulf.

I love this cool weather. It will be gone in a day or two, though.
