    .44WCF 250 gr .428" Loads Needed!!!

    I have some bullets I used the wrong mix on that dropped at 250 gr not 240 gr for my .44-40 Rossi's and Marlins that I am looking for load data on. The dozen load books I have don't list a 240 or 250 gr for the .44-40 so need some help. I have Unique, Red Dot (My 240 gr Powder), W231, IMR4227, IMR4756 (MY 200GR POWDER), IMR4198, H110, Verget, Reloader 15, IMR3031, WST, Universal Clays Technology, and International Clays Technology. I also have Goex FFg, FFFg and 777 FFg, FFFg that I normally shot and load.

    The Rossi and Marlin are both strong rifles. I would try about 20 grains of IMR4198 as a start load.
