If you can find one of Walt's catalogs - that would be the only resource I know.

One I have is marked 350 415. Four cavity.
Can you post a picture? Yours sounds like a 405 Winchester bullet but I may be wrong.
Walt's catalogs had drawings of the bullets and each had a number that had nothing to do with size and weight.
Then on the molds the size and weight is stamped, but no catalog number. Not really confusing but we do need a catalog to know because in some cases it helps to match an image. I have some catalogs I will try to dig out later today if no one beats me to it.
