#331 in my opinion, is the 9mm Lead Round Nose perfected. The previous design was #115 until Wayne Gibbs thickened the front leading band for better headspacing with the 9mm case. After redesigning it, he retired design #115.

    IMHO that 10 cavity #331 is worth $600 to $700. First 10 cavity #331 I've ever seen.

I started casting last might with my 6 cavity #331. I do these manic casting sessions that go for evening after evening for a few days, load up a few thousand 9mm and have some inventory for a while. Been burning up a fair amount of 9mm these days.
That IS the first 10 cavity #331 I have seen also. A rare bird indeed.

That, my fellow caster, is a once-in-a-lifetime find. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Is the top one a #503 or #51? I would guess #51? Not sure there would be enough real estate for a 10 cavity # 503.

In my opinion a 10 cavity #503 would only have 8 cavities. I could be wrong.........

I think you are right. There just isn't enough real estate there to put in 10 cavities.
My 6 cavity #503 sure pumps out a lot of bullets, and drains a pot quickly.
    My go-to mould for 44's.

You are correct. 10 cavity molds stop at .358"-361". Over that size you could only order 8 cavity.

I've got a 6 cavity #50 mold and I have to say that it is too heavy for me to cast the same way I cast with the 4 cavity. I would have had to pass these up knowing that I couldn't handle them. Getting old has it's drawbacks(understatement).

Even if the OP never uses them, his retirement fund just got a boost. Quite an investment.

Maybe not. He might like knowing that another caster that will use and appreciate them now has them.
