Who makes a good 9mm 147gr FP bullet that is coated for reloading?

Looking for using them for target shooting and also for woods carry loads. Looking to pickup a few 1000 of them.

    Thanks

I've shot and loaded both ACME Bullets and BAYOU Bullets in 147 grn FP and had very good result. I'm sure there are many other companies who make great bullets.

Check out Casting Machine, he's a member here. I use his 115 gr 9mm, and they work well for me.

Their coating is a moly impregnated resin that's the best I've seen. Absolutely no leading.

I rarely buy bullets anymore, but do when I don't have a mold for the bullet I want to try. I go to Acme Bullets first and 99% of the time they had what I wanted (haven't tried for a while, but visiting the site they are hit pretty hard with the present situation too). Good quality, (casting and coating), good prices and quick shipping. I like the boxes too!

Im partial to the Lyman 356637 bb mold. It drop heavy unless ya cast with HARD stuff. But it works well for me. But I shoot in my 357 sig and 38 Super. I dont shoot 9mm.

The Lyman 356637 isn't a true FN, but it's not a RN either. Bit in between. Closest thing to what you asked for in a production mold that I know of.

I have used the Berrys 147gn FP. They worked just fine. They are currently out of stock. berrysmfg.com
