350 legend,200 gr lee cast and maybe Red Dot. What would be a gopher load?

Just wanting a light load in my legend to pop a few striped gophers around the yard. Any suggestions?

If it probably won't cycle an ar all the better, I won't have to chase my brass.

If your 350 legend is anything like my 357 Max, a great plinking or gopher load is the Lee plain base 125 RF in front of 5.2 gr. of Red Dot. The MV is about 1250 fps.

I am getting started in the 350 legend I will have a AR-15 action to deal with, so I am looking at W296 AA1680 may be 2400 (that I have on hand to work with, I am working with an NOE copy of the same mold that you are working with,
I am also wanting to try a RCBS 358-158gr. RN size it to 356 and try to get some plain base gas checks for this idea

You can shoot gophers? Never seen one above ground. I'd prefer a 22lr.
    Whatever!

13 line striped gophers, maybe the size of a large chipmunk. They pop up along roadsides and in pastures. They like to eat corn just as it comes up, leaves a circle around the den, maybe a 15' radius with no crop or garden. Fun to try at 20-30 yards offhand, target as big as my thumb and a little longer. An air rifle would work but 350 legend reduced load would be more fun and wouldn't throw out my brass.

    OK, ground squirrel, not gopher.
    Whatever!

I have an abundant number of Voles and have a preference for a 2x4 just because they tick me off....
