    First for this year

    Found these giants at the base of a dead persimmon tree that also grows oyster mushrooms.

    My plan is to clean up the Sthil fill the chain lube with Italian dressing and slab 'em up for the grill. The shavings will be molded into patties for grilling. Hopefully there will be minimal waste.

    I like your ambitious plan, but, uuuh, I kinda think it's the inverse of "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach." LOL

    I think the little black ones have so much more flavor than the big whites.
