WTB - Service - Sizing of six (6) 12 gauge all brass shotgun shells

I have 6 Alcan 2-1/2” brass 12 gauge cases that I would like to have run through an RCBS Cowboy 12 gauge die set. As I’m looking at a substantial investment to do this myself, I’m hoping someone here has the setup and might be able to help me out with sizing these 6 shells. Please pm if you are set up to size these, and let’s discuss a fair service charge. My cases are decapped and scrubbed, but not polished. Thank you. Jim

Would the Mec collet sizer not work? Those may be easier to come across; if that would work I have one and could size them for you. No cowboy die set though.

I understand a MEC sizer will not work on brass, I have a MEC 600 press and don’t want to experiment...

Lyman made their steel sizing die for shot shell cases too, that you could size them with a vise or big hammer. I had one, but haven't seen it in a while. I would think they would show up on ebay occasionally.

I have the Lyman/Ideal 12 gauge FL sizing die.
I also have a 12 gauge die set made for the AA Truett Press that I can remove the depriming rod from.

I've used these to size regular hulls, but I never tried all brass hulls.

I can try sizing then if you want, if you think that will work.
    PM me

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

I have 10 old Win & Rem brass casings. I have a set of old sizing / loading tools which are a mixture of Lyman and homemade. I have sized and loaded my cases many times with these tools. I would be glad to size your cases if you want me to. Send me a PM if interested.

I have a Lachmiller case conditioner, and I have 1 old brass shell. I will try it and see how it works.
