Most of the tanks are gone and the windows don't rattle anymore. I won't be able to sleep now.

Wow thats $190 a sleeve of 5,000 plus the Bullmat. I bought two sleeves of Chedditte primers in October at a total cost to me $270 plus tax and about two weeks before I got the Cheddittes I got two sleeves of WIN 209’s for $290 plus tax . Yes in 2020 I bought in excess of 30,000 shotgun primers . So with that being said I should be in good shape for a few years .

Hate to rub it in but a friend gifted me 5000 Cheddite 209s and 8 lbs. Clays powder. Already loaded him a flat of shells and 2 others for our dove season and grandson’s skeet club. Smiles all ‘round!

2,000 will probably last me until I'm in the nursing home.

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

I'm not here to brag either but I bought 8000 shotgun 209s and around 4000 primed hulls about a year ago and I don't shoot near as many rounds a year as some here do. I'm good. Gp

It’s all based on amount used per year . I usually shoot 5-8 thousand shells a year now and every time I start loading I load close to 10,000 before I stop . Now that’s not one gauge but all from 8-410 . I probably load way more12’s 16’s and 20’s than anything else but with that being said I load a good number of 10’s and 28’s . I’ve got several hundred new WIN 8 gauge hulls that came to me primed so when I bought the new hulls I got an additional 600 WIN 209’s . I’m not an advocate of Chedditte primers but if they keep me functioning what the heck .

I’ll leave for the Southern Side by Side week after next and for five days I’ll carry about 3,000 shells mostly 10’s , 12’s , 16’s and 20’s but a few 8’s and 28’s . I certainly doubt shooting all them but I like being over stocked .

Good to hear that most of you guys are in good shape. I tried to warn people when rifle and pistol primers starting going nuts, to stock up on 209's when they were still in good supply and not too pricey.

Some people need to learn the hard way.

Primers arrived this morning! This stuff can still be found through diligent searching. These came from BPI, and they notified me via e-mail that they had them in stock. I sometimes get notifications from MidwayUSA and Sportsman's Guide. Pays to sign up to be notified on their websites.
