Was going through my gun room sorting ammo and noticed I had a bunch of partial batches of various reloads and factory ammo in .40 S&W. Decided to get rid of them and brought along 3 pistols to shoot. My new Glock G23 Gen 5, my previous carry pistol, a S&W M&P40c, and my favorite .40 S&W, a Remington R1 Limited.
Decided it would be interesting to shoot all three pistols at 10 yards, 10 rounds, and in 10 seconds, to see how they performed.
When I got done, thought it would be prudent to compare my current carry pistol, a Sig P365 9mm.
Glock was up first and had the best group at 2 3/8"...

Next was the M&P40c, which had the worst group at 4"...

Then what I thought would be the most accurate, my R1, but it got a 3 1/4" group...

Decided it would be prudent to see how my current carry gun did, compared to the "snappy" .40's. It did not do great, with a 3 1/2" group...

Not bad results, and certainly all were well within acceptable parameters for self-defense accuracy.
