    Colt Anaconda

Hoping this re release from Colt will be a first rate piece. $1500 is a bit steep but if they have top accuracy and trouble free function I would bite. Have any of you handled one yet?

Perhaps Dan Wesson (CZ) will step up with a .44 too.

You do realize CZ bought Colt and is reintroducing the Anaconda?

Unless CZ releases about 10,000 they will be selling well over msrp for a few years, same as the new Python.

I am on the coltforum. I don’t believe the CZ control has taken place yet. This is discussed more on that forum. This new anaconda based on the new python action should be better than the older action. Time will tell if CZ can in time help colt produce enough product for demand say in normal times. Nothing is normal right now but with that said, a few have been getting these Colts for retail.

Yep, this was in the works long before CZ stepped into the picture. MSRP is $1499. Reviews have been good. Want one in .45 Colt.

Seems to me like Colt hanging on by it’s fingernails has been the norm for some time now.

Hard to believe they squandered all that money from supplying M16 and M4's to Uncle Sam.
