    Hornady GC Tin

Picked this one up partially full off the yard sale table of used stuff at a LGS some time ago. The label says "Pat. Applied For" and checking the Hornady website there is a list of patents they received but not one for a GC. Was the crimp on feature not unique enough? Can anyone date this tin?

Don't know for sure, but the 5 or 6 that I have came from an old timer who was really into reloading from the mid 50's through the mid 70's. Always 'assumed' late 50's or early 60's on those.
