Auction--Marlin 336, Win action, barrels & brass for sale

I have an 87 year old gunsmith friend who'd like to thin the herd a bit. This auction runs until Saturday, noon, April 3rd. Please post your bids & questions here. The two firearms will be shipped from him (his FFL) to your FFL, everything else USPS to you direct. Payment is by USPS money order or PayPal (no PP for the guns). If you want insurance we can work it out.

    1. Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. This is pretty much factory except he worked the stock & forearm down to more Winchester-like proportions & then oil refinished. This rifle likes boolits, shoots well and the bore is lovely. JM stamped. The serial number starts with 69, doesn't that mean it was made in '69? Not sure. Starting bid is $300 + $25 to ship.

The last photo shows some blue wear at the the end of the barrel.

    2. Winchester Lee action. Neither one of us knows squat about Lees. What you see is what we'll ship. Bolt head is .308/.30-06 sized. Start at $25 + $10 ship.

    3. Next up are three rifle barrels. First is a Marlin 336 take -off in .30-30. Bore is excellent. Start bidding at $35 + $10 to ship.

Then there are two new Douglas chrome moly XX barrels. Both are one in ten twist, both double X, neither are chambered.

    4. The shorter one is a .270 and will finish out at 22 or less inches. Start at $75 + $10 shipping.

    5. The longer of the two is a .257 and will finish out at 26 or less inches. Start at $75 + $10 shipping.

    6. And finally is some .35 Remington brass. Two bags, 52 fired, 85 new. All are cleaned & primed with new primers. These start at 75 cents a round for the Fired and $1 a round for the new, plus $8 shipping for each bag. We can't get more than one bag into a Small Flat Rate box.

    Thanks for looking and bidding.

    Teddy,

Yes, two bags, one fired (52 pieces x.75 = $39 + $8) (ship) and the new bag has 85 pieces @ $1 each + $8 ship. All the brass is primed.

    Blanket,

The Winchester Lee action's serial number is 140XX if that helps.
