    .45/90 bullet boxes

I just acquired a .45/90 and with the bullet I am trying the O.A.L. is 3.200. and I might end up setting the bullet about a little further. I was looking at MTM 50 round plastic bullet boxes and I am not sure any of them will take these diameter or lengths and still close. Can someone advise me of a suitable one ?.

Go to rifle - look for the caliber you want and the box that best suits your needs.

Ok, I thought you meant bullet box. You mean cartridge box. For my 45-90 loading the NEI 480 gr. bullet I use the MTM Large Rifle boxes and they've worked fine since '95.

The factory O.A.L. of a.45/90 is 3.200 and that is all a .45/90 box will allow. If I set my bullet out to touch the lands and grooves the standard box will not close. Other deeper boxes I have found will not take a .45 cal. diameter round. Are there not a cartridge box for .45/100, .45/120 ?.

Yes, the mtm boxes made for 45-110, 460 Weatherby, 470 NE.....etc. will all accommodate the ammunition you are building.
Did you look at the cartridge chart on the mtm website?
