Load info needed : Lyman 358432 160gr. WC in .357 brass

    Hello,

While I prefer 135-145gr. .357 loads generally, my fixed sighted Vaquero seems to prefer 158-160gr. Loads as far as sight regulation goes. I am contemplating getting a 160gr. version of the 358432 mould. Does anyone have .357 load data for this beast? Particularly interested in Unique powder data (because I have Unique on hand).

    Thanks

If you crimp it in the crimp groove, you can use data for 158-160 grain SWC loads. That boolit is designed to leave the same amount of space inside the case as a standard SWC boolit. This approach works for both 38 special and 357 mag.
The 358432 performs superbly in all my revolvers, both 38 special and 357 mag. It also works well with both light and heavy loads.
It is a great general purpose boolit.

Thanks Tazman. Very helpful suggestion, glad to hear positive things about the boolit. I have read elsewhere that this is a tackdriver boolit which is why I am willing to fork for a new mould.

I just snagged a single cavity 358432 mould. I should have it at the end of the week.
