    Dry Lube Rehab??

I cast up and lubed a bunch for my 50-70 some years ago and seems I stored them poorly. Seems I need to do better than a ziplock bag. Lube is a bit dry and approaching crunchy. It was a mix of Crisco, Beeswax and Jojoba. Any way to rehab them? Maybe a spritz of olive oil? And how should I store them for longevity next time? Sorry if these are common questions, I confess I did not search before asking.

The oils (fats) have polimerised combined with oxygen. You will have to re lube them.

Don’t lube more than a few weeks needs. And a better storage container impermeable air tight is required.
It would be nice if the existing lube could be rejuvenated. I’d experiment with a few bullets soaked in a cheap cooking oil for a few hours/days to see if lube feels renewed.
If the experiment fails clean them off or remelt them.
