    Always my luck....

I just ordered all new steering parts for my truck and just saw an auction flyer not to far away that has a lot of firearms including a 1950 336 in .35 Remington.

Would love to have the free cash to go bid on that. I've always wanted one.

And just to rub salt in the wound, it is supposed to be an SC.

    I thought about going, but I already have a 1950 336A in .35 Remington.

Wonder what it went for? I didn't go because there was also a seven foot brush hog that I really don't need, but would have liked to have.

I ended up going to the gun show in KC today, what a waste of time. Gun prices didn't seem that bad; but ammo was ridiculous, and I don't know a word bad enough (and I'm a sailor) for $250/1000 primers.

I gave up on going to KC years ago. Long drive, long lines and maybe find some brass or a magazine.

And now just to tease me there is a .35 up for auction in the swapping and selling section.

Oh well, I'll give a bid for an HVAC job today then hope the equipment shows soon for the new walk in cooler I need to install. And I have a compressor to install. I should have some cash by the time Harrisonville gun show starts next month.

that 336 on swapping an selling is pretty dang good deal. the 35's are nowhere near as common as 30-30. and the ones I got are are awesome cast bullet shooters.
